Charlotte-based SATO America Inc. — a manufacturer of barcode printing, labeling and electronic product code/radio frequency identification solutions, and the North American division of Tokyo-based SATO Corp. — has introduced GY412, an industrial-design direct thermal printer with two print heads that print simultaneously on both sides of a coated label. According to the company, the new printer offers improved productivity and cost savings because it removes the need for secondary printers to print packing slips and the associated cost of additional printing supplies; and also eliminates waste such as the label liner used with single-sided label printers.

"Typically, most companies utilize up to three printers for their picking, packing, and shipping processes," said Robert Linse, president, SATO America. "One printer for the pick list, one for the packing slip, and one for their shipping label; but now with the GY412, the need for the packing slip printer and the associated costs of paper, ink or toner, and packing slip adhesive pouches is eliminated. This is a significant savings in real dollars as well as in labor costs as the solution may allow process modification and reassignment of staff to more critical need activities."

The GY412 is suitable for applications including transportation, logistics, e-commerce fulfillments and forms, and shipping labels, among others. The printer features a variety of onboard linear and two-dimensional symbologies; high-speed printing up to 10 inches per second; and interface options including USB 2.0, LAN (10/100BaseT) and RS-232C (Serial

تاتام سیستم کنترل جدید خود را معرفی کرد

United Kingdom-based Tatham Ltd. — a global supplier of drive and control equipment for woolen and nonwovens processing — has developed a system that provides higher production speeds and improved product weight distribution for crosslapper control while offering substantial energy savings.

The TSX control system, which can be retrofitted to all makes of crosslappers, uses ABB high-performance machinery drives and servomotors. Depending on the existing crosslapper configuration, several panel combinations are available. The system is linked to the master process control using Profibus, an ABB AC500 programmable logic controller (PLC) that provides positioning data to the drives, which then convert the data into control signals to maintain servomotor speed.

According to Tatham, when the TSX system was retrofitted to an existing crosslapper, the energy usage dropped from 60 Amps to 15 Amps. The company reports the software offers precise, repeatable positioning to provide complete control of the batt profile. The ABB PLC, drives and servomotors are used to vary the speed at which the batt is laid down, offering a more accurate and controllable buildup of the layers. The TSX system can adjust carriage speed at the edges of the batt to avoid distortions and maintain the required density across the entire width. The parameters may be adjusted using the touchscreen operator interface, and the batt density may be adjusted across its width to suit the product requirements with coefficient of variation values of around 1 percent.

Tatham also offers a closed loop control system to automatically adjust the batt profile to the preset requirements. The system can be extended to link with Tatham's own TS weight control system if required.

Tatham has installed TSX systems at a geotextile manufacturer in Malaysia, papermaker felt producer in China, and an automotive textile producer in the United States, among numerous other installations globally

خبرگزاری فارس: مدیر دفتر نساجی و چرم وزارت صنایع و معادن گفت: در چند سال اخیر برندکشی از سوی برخی از افراد مانعی برای شناسنامه‌دار کردن کالای ایرانی است.

به گزارش خبرگزاری فارس از مشهد، مهدی اسلام‌پناه در آیین بازگشایی چهارمین نملیشگاه بین‌المللی صنعت کیف و کفش، ماشین‌آلات و محصولات پوست و چرم و دومین نمایشگاه مد و نوآوری در صنعت کیف و چرم در نمایشگاه مشهد اظهار داشت: اجرایی شدن برند به عنوان یک سمبل ارزشمند باید در تولید کالای ایرانی به منظور شناسنامه‌دار کردن آن‌ها لحاظ شود.
مدیر دفتر نساجی و چرم وزارت صنایع و معادن افزود: بر این اساس باید اقداماتی به منظور اصلاح الگوی مصرف و نیز اجرایی شدن برند در کالاهای ایرانی را در راستای شناسنامه‌دار کردن این کالاها ضروری عنوان کرد.

Paris-based Lectra, a provider of integrated technology solutions for soft-goods applications, has introduced Diamino® V5R4, the latest edition of its marker-making technology, offering features to improve speed and efficiency with regard to marker-making and material consumption optimization in the costing, prototyping and production phases of product development.

"Buying material is now a major expense for manufacturers in the fashion, automotive and furniture sectors and for companies that use industrial fabrics," said Daniel Harari, CEO, Lectra. "Marker-making is therefore a key lever for evaluating and guaranteeing the profitability of a product at a very early stage and improving its cost price. The time savings, streamlined processes, and material optimization offered by Diamino V5R4 give our customers a competitive edge.

"Solutions include DiaminoFashion and DiaminoFurniture as well as the DiaminoTechTex solution designed for automotive, composite and industrial fabrics applications. The newest edition of the technology uses two methods to optimize material consumption, with a manual method used for interactive marker-making and an automated method that uses Diamino's algorithms when interaction is not needed. The methods also can be combined to make more complex markers.

According to Lectra, manufacturers can use Diamino V5R4's new rapid Optimizer function in both manual and automated mode on existing markers and realize material savings averaging 1 percent over a substantial number of markers. Manufacturers working with lists or batches of markers may see the efficiency of each marker improved in less than one minute.

The marker realizes further material savings by setting a protection area only around internal notches. The efficient arrangement of fuse blocks to facilitate quick assembly leads to time savings. Diamino V5R4 also provides direct access to HP-GL and Cutfile export interfaces as well as the DXF format used for automotive and aerospace applications. In addition, only one interface is needed for printer and plotter management.

Safe And Cost-Effective Personnel De-Dusting

WINDSOR, Maine — Air Control Industries' 'Jetblack' blower-powered personnel and localised cleaning system provides a safer and more cost-effective alternative to compressed air. It is available as a wall fixed unit and portable one, and is ideal for use throughout industry, particularly in textiles for removing fibres and fabric dust adhering to clothes.

Unlike compressed air systems, which deliver low air volumes at high pressure, ACI's Jetblack employs high volumes at low pressure. The JetBlack delivers air at less than 3psi and is totally safe even when air is blown directly at the skin. Fan speed can be varied to suit different applications and the air delivered is clean because it has been drawn in via a filtered inlet.

Being powered by an electrically driven blower, the Jetblack is significantly cheaper to run than compressed air systems because it offers the double saving of requiring less energy (1.4kW input) to operate and being easy to turn on/off as required to help eliminate waste. There is also the additional bonus of noise output being less than 78dB.

Rieter Introduces C 70 High-performance Card

Switzerland-based Rieter Machine Works Ltd. reports its C 70 1.5-meter-wide card offers a number of improvements over the earlier-generation C 60 card.

According to the company, a redistribution of the carding zones in the flats area and redesigned flats guiding enables the new card to increase production performance by up to 40 percent while maintaining or even improving sliver quality. The C 70 card features 32 operative flats, providing a 45-percent-greater active flats area than the C 60, and a 60-percent-greater area than conventional cards. Thanks to the new card's precise flats guiding system and updated design, a precise and reproducible minimum distance of 0.1 millimeters can be set between the cylinder clothing and the flats. The company also has reorganized the flats cleaning function.

Other C 70 features include: an extraction knife with variable ejector distance located in the pre- and post-carding area to optimize fiber utilization, plus quick exchange of the knife without tools; a frequency converter that enables infinitely adjustable flats speed independent of the cylinder speed; and 15-percent lower energy needs per kilogram of produced card sliver than the C 60. Options include Rieter's exclusive fully automatic integrated cylinder grinding system.

تجمع کارگران نساجی در مقابل استانداری مازندران

در برنامه های آتی سرمایه گزار نباید کارگران فراموش شوند و در اواخر سال گذشته استانداری مازندران تلاش کرد باگرفتن تسهیلات بانکی چهار ماه از حقوق کارگران پرداخت گردد.

ایلنا:بدنبال عدم پاسخ گویی مناسب مسئولان قائمشهروهمچنین مدیرعامل نساجی مازندران صبح امروز تعداد کثیری از کارگران با تجمعی آرام وبا در دست داشتن پارچه ای خواستار پرداخت حقوق معوقه خود و رسیدگی به اوضاع کارخانه نساجی مازندران شدند.

به گزارش ایلنا،دراین تجمع اعتراض آمیزتعدادی از کارگران درگفتگویی با ایلنا با ابراز نگرانی از وضعیت معیشیتی خود وخانواده هایشان خواهان پیگیری وجدیت استاندارمازندران در برخورد با کسانی شدند که تا کنون علیرغم وعده ها به تعهدات خود عمل ننموده اند.

براساس این گزارش یکی از کارگران که نخواست نامش فاش شود گفت :طبق آخرین قراری که با فرماندار قائمشهر انجام پذیرفت کارفرما متعهد شده بود با پرداخت حقوق بصورت ماهانه وهردوماه یکبار نیز با پرداخت معوقات ،بدهی به کارگران را به صفر برساند ولی متاسفانه تا کنون کارگران نساجی مازندران حقوق آذر،دی،بهمن،اسفندوپاداش سال88و89وحقوق فروردین واردیبهشت ودوسال بن کارگری را نیز دریافت نکرده اند وعلیرغم کشمکش ها کارفرما معتقد است که این تعداد از کارگران باید در لیست بیمه بیکاری قرار بگیرند واین راه حلی که از سوی کارفرما پیشنهاد میدهد نوعی قانون گریزی وشانه زیر تعهدات خالی کردن است.

بدنبال این تجمع ابراهیمی معاون سیاسی وامنیتی مازندران با حضور درجمع کارگران معترض با ابراز همدردی واشراف به مشکلات کارگران نساجی مازندران گفت:انصافا حقوق نگرفتن  ده ماه وادامه زندگی عادی کاری بس مشکل ودشوار است.

وی با بیان این که قضیه نساجی  دغدغه مسئولین استان است و پیگیر مشکلا ت گارگران هستیم گفت: اعتراض کارگران نساجی ،اعتراض منطقی است واز کارگران که در چارچوب موازین قانونی اعتراض میکنند تشکر  نمود.

ابراهیمی با دعوت کارگران به آرامش گفت: در برنامه های آتی سرمایه گزار نباید کارگران فراموش شوند و در اواخر سال گذشته  استانداری مازندران تلاش کرد باگرفتن تسهیلات بانکی چهار ماه از حقوق شما  پرداخت گردد.

ابراهیمی  در ادامه به  تشکیل جلسه کمیسیون کارگری با موضوع نساجی اشاره کرد وافزود:باید تکلیف کار کارگران نساجی هرچه زودتر مشخص گردد.
